What are the effects of a backoff on an MGM/Mirage Players' Club Account?

When your card is swiped, there will be a flashing red area where comments about the player is noted.

I have seen something flashing in red on a terminal on my account at MGM (where I have never counted cards). I couldn't read what it said. Are there any other possible reasons?

Obviously. Of course they can still kick you out again, but a Metro officer would be pretty stupid to waste his time arresting somebody with an invitation in his pocket.

Of course finding a court (especially in Nevada), to side with you may take several steps up the legal ladder. would like to hear from you legal experts.

correct, a mailed invite legally negates the trespass. However, they may well just trespass you again. However, my experience is that if you just use the hotel and stay away from vital casino areas (i.e, the 21 pit) you won't have a problem, assuming you get the marketing department to actually book the reservation. Bring it with you and carry it in your pocket in case something bad happens.

From my own personal experiences, once a property has determined that you can in fact beat them, they will drop you off the comp list for any blackjack freebies. If you have a second game like video Poker then they will allow you to play and earn points. I feel like it's like going to golf resort but they only let you play shuffle board or tennis...why go? With that said, after a 6-8 months layoff, I have never experienced any property that has good enough facial recognition to pick me up when playing and in fact have been backed off multiple times at the same properties without giving them my real name. However that normally earns me an escort off the property. The back offs are chain wide if you use your name/players card. In my opinion a disguise is not needed. Remember, the proliferation of casinos means we all have choices, not like 30 years ago. Ask yourself if you are there for the money or the freebies. Yes, freebies are an added value but if you can't use a players card then you must ignore them.

Depends on the casino.
After being half-shoed and persona non-grata at an AC casino (that sorta rhymes with non-grata), I continued to receive weekly room comp offers, many of which I used, for almost a year. I still get occasional online offers from them and its been 4+ years since I played under that name.

OTOH, HET/CET finally caught up with me after stiffing them for 4 consecutive trips in LV, as I don't have any more freebies with them.

In my experience with cops, they don't like to make an arrest in a case of simple trespass, which is usually a violation and not a crime. What will probably happen is the police will come and say "The management doesn't want you on their property. We are telling you to leave and not come back, and if we do get a call and find you here again we're going to arrest you." Cops are arrogant and they prefer not to make an arrest based on what a non-cop tells them, they like it to be their idea.
