I'm beginning to forget what a snapper looks like. So much for the one in every twenty two hands or so, recently I played around 100 hands, got two, one of which was a push as I didn't take even money. Once again, the maths are wrong . . . .

As it so happens . . . caught one like it just yesterday. Not quite as big though - in the UK they're called perch, and anything over a pound and a half is a respectable size. I think the UK record is around 6 pounds. Am told they can be grilled (an old English dish) but taste like $#it.
