What is the "Magnificent 7" + Fab 4 Question

#1
Hello fellow CCers,

I was wondering what "Magnificent 7" is all about. I have searched around but have not come across what the 7 hands are. All that I've found out is, "Renzey’s "Magnificent 7" shows you how to deviate from basic strategy for 7 "close" hands and reduce the casino’s edge."

I am using Hi-Lo and incorporate it with the Illustrious 18 and Fab 4. Is "Magnificent 7" necessary to learn for me or do the former two suffice?

And for the Fab 4: Do I only surrender 14 v. 10 when the TC is +3, because in the Basic Strategy it says to also surrender. A clarification would be much appreciated!

Thank you for all your help, it is greatly valued!
