worth counting?

I'm going to vegas soon, my bank roll is only $100 I am currently learning the KO method, I am ussually pretty lucky (30x my money when playing a computer with vegas rules sometimes). With such a low bankroll would counting be "worth it" or should I just play and "try to be lucky". Also it's not a big deal if I lose it all, but making money would be nice. :)

May the Gods be with you, also take a rabbit foots and place it in your right pocket. Before you go sacrifice a chicken and chant "I am Lucky" 21 times, it works like a charm for me.

$100 really isn't enough even for a flat better, recreational player. If you hit a bad shoe that could be gone quickly. If I were you, I'd at least try to get another $100 or $200 and then just flat bet with a couple occasional raises when count rises and hope for a couple good shoes.

How can anyone enter a casino with the intention of playing Blackjack with $100 ?

Where do you intend to play ?

While there are some places that awful (terrible) games with sub-$5 minimums,
you are pretty much obliged to play at tables with $10 minimums in most places.

You cannot vary your bets when you only have a few "units" to begin with.

This is a website for people who would like to learn to play Blackjack with an advantage.

Martingayle with that 100 dollars on Roulette.

But better advice would be to save the 100$ and wait until your bankrol is in the thousands then you can start thinking about counting cards.

Either you'll make money, or in a few minutes, it'll all be gone. Or you'll make a few bucks, and then, in a few minutes, it'll all be gone.

Certainly "make money" seems like the least likely outcome with that bankroll, but why not go for it?

Back count. Wait until you see a +3 true count, then make $5 bets.

His e.v. will be < $2.00 an hour.
So in 5 hours of play, he could increase his bankroll by 10%. $2/hr is pretty damn good for someone with a $100 bankroll. :)

Seriously, though, in Vegas with $100, just play $5 minimum, basic-strategy blackjack and hope for the best. Or just skip blackjack altogether and buy yourself a few lap dances. Arm yourself with a better bankroll for card counting next trip, Vegas will still be there.

I would rather flush my money down the toilet then waste my time for 2 bucks an hour. If you want to make 2 bucks an hour, you could be a picker in the field.

But, if you're already in Vegas...

Is that all you value your time at 2 bucks an hour ? Total waste of time.
If the goal was to make money, that's true, but if it's just for fun, no harm. Lots of people play chess, bridge, or other things for $0/hr. Nothing wrong with that.

Your best bet is to probably go to a $1-$2 nl table. Fold every hand until you get a very high pocket pair or AK. Then go for the kill.
