Bad rules?? How does this affect my advantage?

#1
The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan offers blackjack, but
-the dealer always hits soft 17:eek:
-Ace/Ten combinations in split and DD situations are counted as 21, not Blackjack:eek:
-you can DAS on all cards except Aces:eek:
-You cant resplit Aces:eek:
-and you can only have up to three hands.

I want to know how these situations affect my percent advantage.

Thank you,

1,2,3, 4 are quite common, 5 is a bit unusual, It's a mildly bad game.
I'm not aware of any casino that counts Ace/ten after splits as a BJ, nor any that let you DAS Aces.

So 1, 2, 3, 4 wont really affect my % advantage much? And 5 is uncommon? hmm well i guess i'll have to find an advantage calculator online somewhere. If I dont have a big bankroll 5 wont matter much will it? Plus i need cover if i am counting

Moos,

That game and that place has one of the worst games in the US, STAY AWAY.

They have also been caught cheating by shorting decks in the past.

It is an abortion of a game.

If you keep playing there you are a FOOL. Decide now, are you a fool or a smart man???

If you like BJ look around at the other places, get educated, money is not easy to come by these days and that S**t house sure doesn't need more.

Years ago when they had a decent game I played there frequently and one day, in the high limit table I was surrounded by four armed security, told to pick up my chips and go with them, I did until they tried to force me physically into a room off the entrance, I refused and pushed back, they said "OK since you want to be a smart ass those chips are worthless because we will not allow you to cash them, ($3,600), and you are trespassed, if we see you on these grounds again you will go to jail." The head guy was holding a file in his hand, I can imagine what was in it.

These people are MOFO's and as a tribe are looked down upon by all the others.

Give them no business.:vomit:

I had some AP friends cash them over time, but that is touchy at times with the casino.

This brings up loyalty and respect among fellow AP's. You never know when you will need anothers help in situations as above. It is always smart to show respect to fellow AP's, as the saying goes in the MMOA, "Strength And Honor". Young players especially should pay heed to that. It is not smart to make enemies among our community, but rather form strong bonds of friendship and respect and loyalty...that is what the "BJ BASH" hopes to accomplish, among a few other things.

Is it against the law for the casino to refuse cashing one's chips if the person did not do anything illegal? Is this America or what?

Reservations are above federal laws? I mean any business has to follow some rules. There is no law that protects a gambler's right? Excuse me, but I am not a lawyer.

The reality is that in those situations you are mostly on your own. Show respect and tread lightly. Most tribes have much honor, this one does not.

Reservations are NOT above federal law, any more than anyone else is, and they can be forced to cash the chips. Or just send someone else in to do it, no big deal.

It can be a very big deal. It is against the law to hire illegal aliens, a $10,000 fine each time....try to get the Feds to enforce that. Having a law and enforcing it are 2 different things.

Tribes will not easily roll over for the Feds and for sure not for the States.

I am not the only one to have this happen, I know of a team and a fellow AP that experienced the same, in different places, and for alot more money.
