Hello all, first post here. Great site and great info.

Back in the 70's I attended Stanely Roberts school of Black Jack in Los Angeles. The counting method taught was for single deck; 10 & face card = (-2) and A, 2-9 = (+1). Count started on 17 as neutral but after the first hand the following applied; 24/above= VR, 21-23= R, 18-20= N, 17-11= P, 10/below= VP.

Basic Strategy and Advanced Strategy was also taught.

I have not been an active casino player for some time although initially I did make a little money and had the pleasure of the 'heat' and toss from Circus Circus after splitting 2 pairs of tens on a dealer 5, then doubling down after jumping the bet for a cool $800 profit on one hand. There were many years I didn't play at all. However, I am presently working overseas where there is little to no entertainment when off duty. I fill that time by playing BJ on my lap top using a 90's version of Hoyle Casino. It's a good little program that allows for the various types of play one would encounter in Reno, Vegas, Atlantic City etc. Mostly I play single deck but once in a while play two. Just for the fun of it, I recently played 6 decks and found that using the Roberts 10 Count system the count total resulted in being exceedingly rich or exceedingly poor (in the minus zone). The numbers didn't seem right to me and I can not remember if Roberts taught a variation of the ten count system for more than two decks.

Here is my question. Did Roberts teach a variation of the 10 count system for multilple decks? If so, where can I find it?

Would it be as simple as moving the starting count proportional to the amount of decks? 1 deck= 17, 2 decks= 34, 4 decks= 68 etc.

Roberts taught this method in the 70's. I have no idea how effective it would be in todays casino games, but I have found it to be very successful with simulated computer games.
