Every ace you get,you get a ticket.Every five tickets are redeemable for a $5 matchplay, regardless of what your bet is.
I'm thinking on a semi-full table,you'll get about 12-13 Aces an hour or 60 in 5 hours.Thats 5 $5 matchplays or about $2.50 an hour.
Doesn't this mean that a $5 BS player has an edge on the house?

Promo is currently at The Vegas Club.

It's more than that. It's a dollar an ace, so 12-13 aces an hour is 12-13 bucks an hour.

More interesting is calculating the revised hit/stand strategy for this. Every card you take is worth 7.7 cents, so bias all close calls towards hitting or not doubling.

(Wait, those numbers are assuming the dealer does not confiscate the match play on a win or push. If he does the value is less, but it's still a good promotion.)

Just to clarify, the ticket is only for your first two cards.Don't you assume that a matchplay is worth half its value,as a general rule.I'm fairly sure youn retain the coupon on a tie, surrender it only on a decision.

It looks like this has already been answered, but here’s my take on it:

You expect to see an ace about once every 13 cards. With four players at the table (plus the dealer) you will see about 2.7 * 5 = 13.5 cards per round (we’ll call it 13 for simplicity). That means you will expect to see an ace on every round and it will land on your spot about 1/5th of the time, so you will get an ace every 5 rounds. However, about 25% of the time it will be your hit card so it will not count. You will get that ace in your first 2 cards about once every 6.25 rounds.

If we assume 70 hands per hour then you will expect 70 / 6.25 = 11.2 aces per hour for a total of 2.24 $5 matchplay coupons. Since you will lose the coupon slightly more than half the time it’s value is just under $2.50. That gives the coupon a value of 2.24 * $2.5 = $5.60 per hour. Since your BS EV at the Vegas Club is roughly $5 * 60 * 0.003 = $0.90 (assuming the same 60 hands per hour flat betting $5) then your total EV becomes $5.60 - $0.90 = $4.70 per hour.

For comparison, playing heads-up at 150 hands per hour will earn $12.50 in promotional money while playing 2 hands heads-up will earn $25. It looks like Sonny will be making a side-trip on his way to the Halloween Blackjack Ball this year!

So, to answer your question, a BS player actually does have an advantage at this game during the promotion.
