best places to count cards

I know in Vegas and AC they have pretty high tech survailence systems to help fight against card counters....I was wondering if it was maybe a little easier, aka less of a chance getting noticed, at some of the smaller riverboat or reservation type casinos.

There are now tons of casinos all over so would it be better to just travel around to different casinos each week. I know traveling takes money and what not but luckily I can fly anywhere for free.

Also what's that best way to find out the house rules for a certain casino?

Any suggestions at best places to count cards?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
 
I hope noone posts a list of favorable casinos and their location. I will loose respect for anyone who does and this site for allowing someone to do so.

The smaller rural casinos have smaller profits. Accordingly, they have higher motivation to go to extreme means to "protect" their games.

IF you can fly for free you want to focus on Las vegas, Nevada and Biloxi, Mississippi.

" ... casinos all over the world" L.O.L. The only non-U.S.A. games that are worth traveling to are in Poland and the Ukraine.

And if you cannot speak German, Russian or Polish, "fuggedaboudit".

House Rules? Ask !

Better yet, buy a copy of C.B.J.N. [Current Blackjack News] so that you can check out what to expect at the hundreds of North American casinos.

Best Place to play? Nowhere at all. You first need to spend quite some months studying and practicing.

The Indian casinos are often smaller and have lower limits so it is easier to get noticed, but they often have less skilled employees as well. If you know the limits and weaknesses of each casino you should have no problem playing at any of them.

You can call them and ask or you can get a copy of Wong's newsletter that has comprehensive listings for the US and Canada.

It depends on your playing style, betting style, bet range, casino conditions and many other factors. As you get more experience you will learn how to recognize and play better games.

this is true, conditions can change on a day to day or even shift to shift basis!

i recommend using CBJN as a guide to finding good rules and limits that are tolerable. i then use my legs and eyes to see if the 'on the ground' conditions are any good. Usually if the CBJN rules are bad i.e. high house edge, then for me there is almost no point to even look at the game.

No one on this site is going to start telling in public what games are good. Let me explain why so you dont think anyone is being rude. If we tell you the great games in which we make money, there is a possability that the casinos can get wind of it and correct whatever mistake they might be making or whatever is making it able for us to beet it easier then other games. Your gonna have to go out there and scout the tables for yourself. Or your going to have to take time and become friends with some other APs.You need to practice and get to know your stuff and meet people out there from the forum and different places where you would meet APs.

I understand where you are coming from...thanks. What are APs? The only AP I know about is an auto pilot lol

You can get some of the information your looking for on the forums on this site devoted to specific regions. A lot of the details your after are out there you just have to look for it but I would also rather someone not be blatant about good playable games.
 
i went ahead and ordered on of those newsletters from wong and it had all the info i was looking for...thanks and didn't mean to ruffle any feathers here

Some of the best games I've found were exactly opposite in CBJN - it seems that some of the condidtions reporters have been known to protect their favorite games. zg

An AP is an ADVANTAGE PLAYER. This means we play games with an edge in our favor, and we are age always playing with some kind of advantage typ play such as card counting, shuffle tracking, holecarding. There is even AP craps and other casino games can also be played with a small but decent players egde, with enough practice that is.
 
thanks man.....i've been working with this blackjack 678 software for about a month using the TKO method and I can do it fine now. I read in another post some guy that said he trained for 6 months at home and then went to play in a casino and he couldn't do it for the life of him. I thought that was so funny cause i know that's exactly what's going to happen to me.

I have found that correlating a word with each number is easier to keep the count inbetween hands. I've been putting the count to an athlete that has that number and then doing lother things inbetween deals and it helps a lot although i'm sure putting all of this into actual play is going to be a whole different animal.

I guess there's no practice like actually doing it in a casino huh?
 
My brother found on itunes or lime wire casino background noise it has slot machine bells and coins going off even a person asking if you want drinks. We bought a bj table from a local casino and have that blasting in the background while we practice. The more you can replicate the casino while you practice to beter. Also when I first started to learn how to count I was having a problem going from +1,0,-1 so I start at the number 20 in my head and go up and down with the count like 20,21,22,21,20,19,18 ect..
