I seriously doubt the pit has any involvement in the transaction... Besides, if they want to know if your rat-holing all they have to do is check the rack when you leave, which they do. Just thought I would clarify that information.
Dealers are instructed to be impartial to players winning/losing. Bosses would much rather see tables win and dealing more hands per hour is a way to help accomplish that goal. However, if you were tipping, then the dealer would have a genuine interest in you winning your hands don't you think?
