How long before "this isn't for me"?

OK just played about 4 hours with HL and came out up 20 units. Not even about the winning session, was just far more comfortable again. Oh and I saw someone split 5's for the first time in my life. I asked him if he'd ever seen "The Hangover" and he gets all excited and goes, "yeah that's...

How long before "this isn't for me"?

Think you are right. And HL was working just fine (and I don't mean just because I wasn't losing) I could manage the system well. Think I'll probably be going back to that until I feel comfortable enough to move to a L2 or L3 system.

How long before "this isn't for me"?

????? I don't even know what that is referring to I really don't think anyone answered my question, instead just telling me that I need to expect losing streaks and that everything works and it's my fault. I am well aware that was a small sample, that's why I said, "I know this is a small...

How long before "this isn't for me"?

I have been counting about 6 months now, started out with hi-lo, made 20 trips over a 4 month period playing around 80 hours and won approx 95 units. I switched from hi-lo to try that "color of blackjack" a few months back, have made 10 trips playing 35 hours and have lost approx 160 units. I...

"The Color of Blackjack" improvements to KO

Ok great. I would have done the same but he had an "it may take awhile for me to respond" disclaimer and I thought you may know. Hope we hear from him....

"The Color of Blackjack" improvements to KO

Bump....Ken, can you possibly answer the above question?

    Learned an important lesson tonight

Yeah, I am well aware that I should not give advice, not act like I know what I'm doing, not draw attention to myself, and I was an idiot and did all of those. Playing 10 dollar units I don't have that much to worry about, but still, better to not make a habit of it for when I start playing for...

    Learned an important lesson tonight

First off I was losing (down about 20 units after 3 hours) so I wasn't particularly happy. Then I proceeded to sit down at a table being dealt by a woman who looked and acted like she would rather be anywhere else in the world. She then proceeded to give the following advice to players who...

"The Color of Blackjack" improvements to KO

Got one more question. Would you recommend only wonging out when it's in the "frigid" section? It seems to me that wouldn't be right because there is no progressive table for what is the "frigid" zone like there is for the "cold" zone. Also I would imagine you would not recommend wonging in...

"The Color of Blackjack" improvements to KO

Thanks for the response, Ken. Any idea on EV with this system compared to Hi-lo? Don't have a simulator yet.....

"The Color of Blackjack" improvements to KO

I have been using hi-lo for the past 6 months, just read his book and while it is straight forward and simple, I was hoping to have some questions answered. I understand that the basic KO concept is to eliminate the TC but on his graphs why does the RC have to continuously go up in order for...

    What would you suggest?

Yeah man no need to be a prick. And obviously I am a novice and that's why I am asking these questions, but if you feel cooler by showing off to a message board then more power to you.

    What would you suggest?

Good point, and no I haven't, don't have a sim. If someone wanted to run one I'd appreciate it. 6D (or 4 and 2) H17 DAS DA2

    What would you suggest?

If I am spreading 10-120, would it be best to sit out at -1 or go down to 5 at -1 and sit out at -2. I was thinking this might reduce heat by playing more hands but since I am essentially spreading 1-24 now would I be gaining heat?
