Anyone Want To Chalk This Up To Luck?

I've done nothing to offend anyone, and people take shots like this all the time around here. It's in poor taste and is unnecessary.

Anyone Want To Chalk This Up To Luck?

Played it straight the whole way. $100 in my pocket after each single session, no more, no less. Anyone can call bullshit on it, it's over and done with, I'm on to different games.

losing 10 hands in a row..

What about a table in which players can play behind? Combine that with that specific table being the lowest stakes available, meaning it's always full. Under normal circumstances I agree with you. All I'm saying is there is situations you can find where the very minimal decrease in HE can be...

losing 10 hands in a row..

Or people who don't know what they're doing, or a slow dealer, etc. It isn't difficult to find.

losing 10 hands in a row..

It lowers the house edge obviously. At a full CSM table, one could expect to find a slower game then certain shoe tables.

losing 10 hands in a row..

Not sure if mikeinjersey is talking about an Automatic Shuffling Machine, which I would assume since he used the word automatic...but if it is a CSM, then there is merit. A CSM is better than an ASM, or a hand shuffled shoe for that matter.

    Are AP`s just advanced ploppies?

The problem is that the majority of posters on this board refer to anyone who isn't playing with an advantage, as a ploppy. It doesn't matter if that person is the addicted gambler, who has been there every day for 2 years straight, or the person who wants to have fun at a Casino, 1 night of the...

    Craps Don't Pass

Makes sense now, thanks sabre. I guess I was just overestimating my chances of hitting a 7 after a point is made. The odds are in my favor, but not as much as I thought. As far as the social aspect of the game, I have taken some heat in the past from people for betting the don't. I'm...

    Craps Don't Pass

I know/play just about every game in the Casino, including Craps. I know all the bets, all the lingo, everything. The don't pass line is what I play, as it is the best bet on the table House Edge wise. I have read all the detailed analysis on how house edge is determined and such, but I don't...

Anyone Want To Chalk This Up To Luck?

The streak has ended. 224 winnings sessions: $22,400 1 losing session: $500 Grand total: $21,900 Funny story regarding the loss. I was up $75 this morning and I get dealt 8/3 against a 3. I stopped and thought to myself "just hit it". After some more thinking I decided there was...

Which is more profitable, poker or blackjack?

I played Poker for over 2 years online as my only means of income, I played at no Advantage over anyone as far as Poker goes. Where is the advantage?

Which is more profitable, poker or blackjack?

I understand now how you are claiming one can be an AP in Poker, but the title seems a bit...over the top. It's not like in Blackjack where you are an AP and you are guaranteed (I use that term loosely) to win. Just because you sit with players that you think you will be able to beat, while at...

Which is more profitable, poker or blackjack?

So what happens when you're at a table with everyone who understands pot odds and all the like, how are you an advantage player now?

Which is more profitable, poker or blackjack?

You're using the rake as a factor. If you don't have the ability to overcome the rake in Poker, then you shouldn't be playing. Poker is a neutral EV game even with the rake. Just because you overcome the rake doesn't make you an "AP"

Which is more profitable, poker or blackjack?

I understand what AP means. It's not really possible to be an AP in poker however, or at least for someone to classify themselves as one. Poker is a +EV game to begin with so I guess I'm missing where the title fits.
