i'm sure you're aware, but there's a pretty nice casino not too far away in lethbridge....
I went there one night, just for a change of scenery, hehhheh they have that lucky 7s, which I didn't know till i got there.
I thought it would be lucky lucky, but anyways I wasn't playing the 7s...
Yeah I had some short, fat guy wearing all black, and an accountants type visor hat, he came 'downstairs' at one point and literally stood right at my spot/(1st base, my fav.) . I just smiled and kept playing.
hehheh that gave me the perfect chance to cash in each shuffle, even if there was a...
Are you referring to medicine hat or red deer? They are both pretty small casinos....I took a bit of a beating in red deer, but made up for it in med. hat., I got some pretty rude looks when I hit one streak of lucky luckys, I think in about 8 hands I had 3 suited 21s (15:1), a handful of 21s...
Lucky Lucky is one of the FEW side bets WORTH PLAYING!
It is only available in Alberta, and it was invented at the jackpot casino in Red Deer. I saw someone had run the odds on it, and it actually worked out to a house advantage in the neighbourhood of blackjack itself, which is far fairer...
Thats what I want to hear, I am a technology person and I dream of these devices like kids at x-mas dream of sugar plums....I have often dreamed of an auto-recognition counting system, where a camera is trained on the table and automatically reads the cards as they are dealt....of course once...
Very interesting information, particularly the part about being forced to pay people who were using the devices....and that they aren't being banned outright....(the devices that is).
Hehheh maybe I need to rejig for roulette....
Hey I agree its not for everyone. Lets face it, some people (perhaps who we call ignorant) consider card counting itself somehow unethical. Others don't. And by the same token, some people have no problem with the concept of 'breaking the rules', others do.
I can tell you that all the...
Like I said my info above could very well be dated regarding Atlantic city and apparently the legislation mentioned was pushed through, so I don't dispute that. So that makes NV and NJ where it is illegal.
I am, however, certain about my position regarding Canadian law.
Yeah ok, call them back and ask them specifically what law they are referring to. They will end up telling you its actually their 'policy', not the law.
Somehow I doubt they will just outright tell you that there is no specific law dealing with concealed devices. I would imagine it would take a...
Obviously you didn't read my last response: The reason its not illegal is because there is NO LAW that applies. You can't be charged with cheating because you are not in collusion with anybody, and you cannot change the outcome of the game (2 requirements that must be proven to be found guilty)...
You obviously don't know much about Canadian law, because there is no such thing as a 'felony' in Canada. We have 'summary conviction' and 'indictable offenses' (ie summary is like a misdemeanor, indictable more serious ilke felonly).
Please don't tell me about the laws in Canada, I have...
#1. It's far less than $200.00 including the device, 1 set of switches, the PC interface, and shipping.
#2. It's not for illegal use. There is gambling in places other than Las Vegas.
#3. If I was trying to 'get rich' off the device I would be charging thousands for it and hyping it as...
The logging feature was added because as they say, it could be done. I had a total of 240 some odd bytes of EEPROM space available in the CPU for whatever I wanted to do with it, so I decided to record the Max hi and lo counts during each shoe, and how many cards were left at shuffle time...
Yes there are jurisdictions where they are illegal to use in the casinos, and I would not recommend anybody to break the law.
But there are also lots where they are NOT illegal, like the whole country of Canada, which has an abundance of Casinos.
This device is real, it works, and it costs...
