Would i use count per deck or just teh running count?

yeah thought so :(

So what my local casino does is, after about 1 deck of cards is discarded, they'll pick it up and put them straight back into the card shuffler. Ehhh, so could I work off a running count after each time the discarded cards are put back into teh machine. Or counting cards is useless?
