Mohegan Sun doesn't allow splitting of tens

That would be too bad if they start closing down some of the Sky tables. The only thing I enjoy about Earth is the close proximity to the Wolf Den. The combination of darkness and smoke gets to me after awhile....

    Foxwood platinum card

20+ hours of play in one day is pretty impressive no matter what level of play you're at:laugh:

    Foxwood platinum card

Sagamore Card is 1600 points, yes? That's one helluva 1-day run I'm only a Player's Club member (used to be Wolf Club) and still get most nights free, except for those nights when they have a big concert.

Annoying new side bet at the Borgata

Agreed. Anecdotally speaking, people seemed to be doing fairly well (at least compared to the typical Match the Dealer side bet) with in-betweens to where it seemed like the 30-1 was an over-compensation by the house. Granted, the lowest pay-out on Match the Dealer is 4:1 (single, non-suited...

Annoying new side bet at the Borgata

You do realize that a leap from 8:1 to 30:1 is a bit different than your blackjack pay-out example, yes? The other "weird" trait of this game is that the 30:1 pay-out involves an outcome completely unrelated from the "in between" aspect of the game. Believe me, I understand what you're...

Anyone Want To Chalk This Up To Luck?

In my heavy BS playing days, I routinely flat bet $25. I can't even tell you the amount of times I lost $1,000 or so, sometimes in even an hour or two. I also recall many times whe re I told myself going in, "Ok, just walk after you're up a hundred or two", and NEVER getting up that much...

Annoying new side bet at the Borgata

To me, it seems strange that an outcome that pays 8:1 throughout the casino pays 30:1 in this game. I understand that in this game you don't get paid if you only match one card, but you also get paid if you land "in between" (which you don't in match the dealer)

Yes, I understand that, but that doesn't answer my question.

Annoying new side bet at the Borgata

I, too, played this at the $5 table at Mohegan. The dealer was completely lost when it came to pay-outs and the concept of the side bet. What I don't understand is the discrepancy in pay-outs between a "double match" in this bet as opposed to the "suited double match" in the regular...
