2017 using basic strategy and a betting system 1-3-2-6. I got just under $19,000 ahead. I won 60% of the time and ended the year $13,500 ahead having run into a rough patch in December. I did that at 3 different venues. Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Twin River. Most of the play at Twin river as it is closest to my home. I play in 6-8 deck game where dealer stands on soft 17 , late surrender is allowed and doubling after splitting is allowed. I play at a $15 -$25 table under the understanding that I want to attract as little attention as possible. I also use my players club card infrequently. I do not believe that seat at the table matters but choosing a table does. I want a table with players with $ in front of them. I will be the best player at the table and the dealer needs to bust for the player to make $. Side bets are sucker bets and money management is a very important ingredient to success. This year has been a disaster. I have not changer my play but the results have been very disappointing. Any suggestions? paulchennessey6@gmail.com
