I understand what your saying Sonny. The only thing is that the min. bet for pairs is usually $5 which is not a big loss if you did not get pairs but if you get pairs then the pay out is 12 to 1. Also you won't be playing the pairs all the time only when the TC is + 3 and up with 2 decks remaining.

In my own experience it seems that whenever the TC is +2 and up the table is full. It seems that the first base always receive those high cards although I don't have math to prove it these were my observations.

Hi, The best time to buy pairs is when the TC is = +3 and up , decks remaining are 2. The probability that pairs of faces cards to come out is high. Although I don't have math to prove it but I have done it myself and it works.

Sorry I forgot. But if the table is not full specially if you are alone then raise bet at TC = +2 and bet 2 hands risk of ruin will be less compared to when the table is full. This is my experience.

By the way if the table is full don't raise your bet at TC = +2 . Only raise your bet at TC = +3. It is too risky to raise bet at TC= +2 unless your acceptable risk of ruin is high .

I learned to gamble through my wife. I hate gambling before , but I lost the battle therefore I gave in. Now, I'm a card counter, video poker player, slots player. This coming May I will receive my severance package and I told my wife that she will sit down while I count cards.
