Well, I don't know what's the problem Achilles but I can tell you one thing.
If the TC rarely goes above +1, rest assured, clumping is not the problem.:D
Let’s recap!
This thread was open by BJGenius007 to answer clumping questions
BJGenius has studied the subject methodically for many years.
He said he sees clumping on ASMs four times as often as with hand shuffles
He said his EV is now better with ASMs provided some adjustments.
He mentioned...
I think Kewjl said at one point he doesn't have the machine anymore. So I don't expect to see a video. I Just hope BJGenius007 is OK. We were expecting one more answer from him.
Thanks for showing up LV Bear. Interesting stuff. I've seeen your handle here and there but I did not look beyond the threads. I just checked the links you provided and your site. Impressive! You have a new reader!
This is just for fun. Here's a crazy hand I just had with CV set up at random extreme bias. You'll notice eight 9s on the table and only 2 tens at TC1 after 1 deck before the deal. Crazy hands happen quite often with this set up and require unusual strategy deviations. Keeping two or three side...
G Man, I thought I wrote "That doesn’t necessarily mean the ASM is rigged". BJGenius said it earlier. the big cards could be anywhere. They are not intentionally hidden behind the cut card by the casino. As long as the players cut the cards, the casino can't do that. Nobody said anything like...
I'll let Achilles discuss the shuffling procedures with BJGenius. I juste quoted him.
I also quoted Norm on "we should lose heavily" in this situation (Random extreme bias.)
The normal CV game is easy to beat.
Do your thing Achilles but if you may, "executing properly" is everything...in everything!
To Achilles: As far as manipulating the cards I was referrig to BJGenius quote earlier: He said: "They tilted the cards towards them while shuffling so the dealer can see the ranks of the cards. Then randomly move three or four cards to top or bottom. on shuffle But it is actually not a random...
Hey G Man. Glad we can talk and agree at least on the fact that the first shoe can be “arranged” somehow. How long does that “structure” last is another thing. Three shoes, tens, more? BJGenius mentioned that dealer manipulations during shuffles could maintain clumping. I give him the benefit of...
Don I totally agree with you that insults are useless and counterproductive but unfortunately we see that over and over on forums. That is beyond me. I don’t really care who proves what. I’m just looking for an intelligent discussion on the subject and so far we've had a few useful contributions...
Obviously, BJgenius007, took a very methodological approach to a simple blackjack problem that somehow has become a religious thing to some. Clumped cards are so obvious at times that any ploppy can see it. If you can't see it, maybe the count should tell you something. If you find yourself with...
I don't care that much about opinions and personalities I want data and observations Don. I can make up my own mind after. The only data I could find on the subject was from your "friend" Ron, so that's a starting point. That's all. His sims are garbage? Maybe but why and how? Anyway, I am much...
