    Foxwoods back to 3:2

Just saw this under Foxwood's promotions section. Seems an attempt (albeit an anemic one considering how hidden it is) to promote the return of 3:2 like @DSchles suggested. An email news letter would be better, which I am signed up for. Also seems poor timing as a lot of the tables have already...

    Mist Mohegan Sun

I know, I must have walked past it 2 times looking for it before realizing what they had done! Thank you for explaining it was the casino of the wind. I never keep track of those. And although I don't go to clubs I did enjoy the waterfall they had against the wall.

    Mist Mohegan Sun

Not entirely BJ related (although there were quite a few tables that had been converted to 6:5 just before it's demise), I was wondering whatever happened to the section of Mohegan Sun that had the Mist nightclub, Margaritaville restaurant, poker room, and the aforementioned shutter inducing 21...

    Foxwoods back to 3:2

you'd think they'd have to give them more time than that to adjust. I only got to play once :-(

    Foxwoods back to 3:2

I'm star struck! Mr. Schlesinger, I own and have read your book Blackjack Attack. Many thanks!

    Foxwoods back to 3:2

True. It certainly had me playing again! I never touched the 6:5 tables.

    Foxwoods back to 3:2

I couldn't tell you if it changed. I wonged out before we got to a shuffle. However, Foxwoods a was about 1 to 1.5 decks off for 8 decks. Mohegan has always been terrible, at least 2 decks. Even after they went from 6 to 8 decks.

    Foxwoods back to 3:2

Around the time MGM Springfield came out and after Mohegan introduced 6:5, Foxwoods went almost entirely 3:2 out on the floor. Except for some $50 in Grand Cedar. I was there past Friday and EVERY table is back to 3:2, soft 17, 8 decks. It's not great rules. But a heck of a lot better and it...

    Mohegan Sun Pen Improves

Was at Mohegan (Uncasville, CT) last night for the first time in a long time. The wife wanted something at Victoria's Secret. I checked the tables in Sky Casino and while the rules were the same (8D and H17) the penetration looked substantially better. Right after the rules changed they were...

And there's never an open seat, $0.50 ante and all!

    Mohegan Sun Eliminates Grandfathering.

On a sort of related note. I was at Foxwoods Sunday night and every table in Fox Tower (didn't check any other casinos) were $10 min with the same typical rules (3:2 H17 8 decks and automatic shuffler). Could it be Foxwoods lowered their minimum bid to compete with Mohegan sun's $10 min (even...

    Mohegan Sun Eliminates Grandfathering.

I can't believe Mohegan Sun would debase BJ to this level. And why though? There are plenty of ploppies to make money off of who don't know how to play, make side bets, and believe beyond a doubt that surrender is a bad play and "ruins the flow of cards" (as if somehow standing doesn't?). This...

    Mohegan Sun Eliminates Grandfathering.

Was just there Friday night and wanted to update what I saw. The pit by Hash House a Go Go is indeed 6:5 H17 and 8 decks (asked a dealer how many decks but didn't play, I also expressed my displeasure about 6:5). Tables were all $10 min and there were people playing, although not as full as the...

As if 6:5 want bad enough, they had to add insult to injury with 8 decks and H17! 3:2 isn't usually printed on the felt. Is 6:5 clearly printed? I'll make a point of asking before sitting down.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check for (and stay clear) of any 6:5 tables. I will try to warn other players too. How many of tables did you say will be 6:5? The rules are very good there right now. When I first played there about 3 weeks ago I had to ask the dealer if BJ paid 3:2...
