haha actually this lady sitting next to me kept hitting 17's... I don't think she was counting either! because the RC never went below 0! She was really annoying, she stuffed all her damn white ($1) chips in her cup holder and clamped her hand over it... when it was time for her to double down...

I like funny people. I stood on a 16 v 10 because the count was positive. the next card just had to be a 4. The dealer felt inclined to point this out to me, then went on to tell me that "when you make bad plays like that you mess up the flow of the cards for everyone!" I didn't say anything...

Re: The main problem with Hoyle... hmm.. that might be it then! because the example i gave above had splitting of 9's... that's wierd. I use their counter to 1.) check my count and 2.) see the TC... since I can't see the discard tray on that game

I turn the counter on in Hoyle Casino so I can check with it, but every now and then my count does not match with it! At first I thought it was my mistake... but it kept happening where I would remember what I start a round with, then I would look over the cards at the end of the round and it...

WHat is the reasoning behind hitting a 13 against a 4 when the count is greater than or equal to 0?... if it is greater than wouldnt there be more 10's = higher chance of busting?... do I have it wrong? I got this out of John May's book. -Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I was thinking maybe I was making mistakes counting the cards too... but the card counter thing in the game gives an RC and a TC... and it gave an RC of 12, and a TC of 1... that's wierd, and I use Hi-lo, game uses different system? does it not count aces in the RC or...
