    Has anyone tried this stategy?

yes but most casinos allow you to play only three hands at five times the minimum bet. finding a singal deck game less then 25 dollars in vegas is hard some times you don't want to play 125 dollars a hand if the count is against you. plus you arn't allowed to look at all the hand before being...

    How much do you tip?

"go for your own" as there called. where the dealer keeps his own tips. it's hard these days to find a dealer that will give two shits about you if his tips are split up between 100 plus dealers.

    Doubling on 11 vs. Ace

yes true but still. b.s. aside that paticular monent is where you can calculate if it is 50/50, 60/40 or 40/60. the house only nows that in the long run there odds will hold up. if at a certain point you see the odds sway in your disadvantage you shouldn't increase your bet. that was all I was...

    How much do you tip?

well my main point was this there are spacific guldlines we "should follow" these guildlines insure you the least hospitibale odds on your money. a simple tip can offer you much more than a smiling dealer.

    Doubling on 11 vs. Ace

yes in the long run, not you the player will have an even advantage but all bets in general. that is where counting comes in. your spacific bet where you can swey the odd either direction

    Even Money???

perfectly put "if you have a big bet out there". if you play a table that offers 6 to 5 on black jack and you play the minimum than i advise taking even money. the dealer will get black jak one out of 6 times, the house offers you 6 to five on a black jack so either or, you end up even. :| a...

    Travel Channel

black jack and craps offers you the best odds on your money. stay away from 'carnival games" black jack where you can double on any first two cards gives the house an advantage of 2 % (most multi decks) with a double on ten or eleven the house has an advantage of 5% (most singal decks)...

    Doubling on 11 vs. Ace

it all depends on what the count is. if there are small cards favored to come just hit. if your count suggest that a lot of high cards are coming then double.

    Has anyone tried this stategy?

wow shoes... ok one thing... shoes favor the house over anyother style of blackjack. the advatage is the syquence in cards to come, thuse the "count" when to bet big and when to bet small. the problem with shoes is that the count can get so favored in one direction and keep going that way. i...
