A7 vs 2 i have always trained it as a Stand

But i have seen a chart say Double?

A7 v 2 is a BS double in a H17 game. It is a basic strategy stand in a S17 game, with a very low index for doubling.

rule dependency, # decks involved, makes a difference far as basic strategy.
it's easy to forget that blackjack is a game that is offered in many variations, far as rules, # decks, how it's dealt, payouts, those sorts of things.
all those variations matter far as strategy and expected value, just as the state of the true count matters regarding strategy and expected value.

S.17 game....4-8 decks stand it unless at tc+1 or key count at K.O then double. No idea what to do on SD/DD games as dont have them in my neck of the woods.!!
