Hi folks,
I was just at my local casino. At their high limit table $100/$300, they use an automatic shuffler, and take out the 6 shoe deck on a card rack and allow the players to cut the shoe. There is no mid shoe entry. BJ pays 3 to 2. Dealer stands on 17. Can double down on any card. One can split any pairs from 2-2 to T-T. I forgot to ask about surrender and the dealer said something about ace splitting. She said it kind of fast and I totally forgot what she said. I plan to go back and inquire again.
What would be a good rules for being allowed to split pair of aces. I mean should I ask to see if they allow double down, or how many time can one split aces or to double down afterwards. I tried to find out in blackjack books, but not sure which book I should consult.
