    key largo casino/hotel 86...

the joint, that is, in favor of another residential condo. just what this county needs, more "luxury" (read vastly overpriced) condos and/or timeshares. the 21 game was never in the top 20 though with the influx of the 6:5 pestilence, it did move up a few notches. that which i would most miss...

interesting thread on a ploppy board...

viz. "las vegas advisor" free forum. the thread relates to the current pestilence, 6:5 bj games. it seems that two posters opine that the game is (somehow) beneficial to the 21 player. respondents within the thread suggest that the two proponents are one in the same or at least, they/he/it may...

    nuevo nino on the block...

subject to gaming approval, the closed castaways (*not* the real original castaways), will be reopened as a latino themed joint. the proposed owners now operate the longhorn and bighorn joints in las vegas (and one or two elsewhere). leastwise, those 'horn games are arguably near the best in...

top ten reasons to visit ha-ha-ha/binion's....

1] that third deep fried twinkie went through your boiler like a torpedo and you need a w.c., pronto 2] you're tired and need to sit down and all seats at all joints within 10 blocks are fully "ploppied" 3] you are an "advantage player" and you want to try your luck at the only joint in town...

    "simpler systems"...

at least, alternatives/additions to card counting exist today. from what i've seen, they are not in print and likely won't be. as to cost, "$700" would be trivial since publication discards the methods.... viz. warps and tells. improvement of the skilled player's tools must overcome those...
