Is the poster sure that it's not one of the blackjack variants? Blackjack Switch and Super Fun 21, off of the top of my head, both pay 1:1 BJ and look a lot like blackjack.shadroch said:There is a thread on another website claiming that there are now $15 tables at Wynn that pay even money for BJ. I seriously doubt it's true, but has anyone heard anything like this?
I think this explains the confusion. I strongly doubt whether Wynn has adopted this. I wouldn't put it past the Harrah's places, however.callipygian said:Is the poster sure that it's not one of the blackjack variants? 'Blackjack Switch' is now at both The Wynn and Encore so that may explain it. Incidentally, they are both adding a 2nd table at each property after just a week of trying it.callipygian said:Is the poster sure that it's not one of the blackjack variants? Oh, goodie. I've been simming BJS in anticipation of my next trip to Vegas; I thought I was going to have to slum it at Casino Royale to play.Geoff Hall said:'Blackjack Switch' is now at both The Wynn and Encore so that may explain it. Not from the folks who know how to beat it.johndoe said:Is there concern over their RFID tables?
Take it easy tho' Cal. I want the game to spread along 'The Strip' - don't want the hold to fall through the floor. Most important installation, by far, to date and could lead to a few more key installations in Las Vegas.callipygian said:Oh, goodie. Let's put it this way: The highest denomination chip I've ever pushed into the betting circle is green, and I can probably count on my fingers the number of times I've bet $100 or more.Geoff Hall said:Take it easy tho' Cal.
Well I hope you have a good experience of the game then. Let me know how the tables are going if you get a chance and 'Good Luck'.callipygian said:Let's put it this way: The highest denomination chip I've ever pushed into the betting circle is green, and I can probably count on my fingers the number of times I've bet $100 or more.
I play mostly for mathematical curiosity/challenge, not to make serious money. I'm pretty confident that I won't be burning any tables. As a matter of fact, I've seen blackjack tables on the main casino floor at the Wynn where my entire bankroll would not make the table minimum for a single hand.
