Every casino in AC pays 3 to 2 because only single deck BJ pays 6 to 5. And there is no single BJ in AC.hoaxxer said:Hi everyone,
It's my first time going to AC in the beginning of May. I read online that most of the cassinos are paying 6 to 5.
Are there any cassinos paying 3 to 2 in AC?
Yes, virtually all are 3 to 2. Not sure where you got your info OP.BJgenius007 said:Every casino in AC pays 3 to 2 because only single deck BJ plays 6 to 5. And there is no single BJ in AC.
Believe the Monkey...Automatic Monkey said:You're all wrong. There are about 10 6:5 SD tables in AC. All the rest are 3:2.
Would you like to reword that to be a little more precise? You're giving the impression that 3:2 in any game on the Vegas strip is rare.alwayssplitaces said:You're wrong, most of the casinos on the Vegas strip are paying 6-5, even on the 8 deck H17 shoes. In AC it's all still 3-2.
Who do you think will win the battle of the games, Harrah's or MGM?alwayssplitaces said:In Vegas, most of the MGM properties are still 3-2 on the $10 and up tables, Harrah's and the independent casinos are mostly 6-5 on the tables <$25. Last week I cringed when I saw a full table of people playing 6-5 ripoff blackjack at $15 a hand! 8D H17 6-5! In AC, thankfully the only 6-5 tables are single deckers.

It's hard to see with clear vision from my perspective. Not owning any of their stock, I want Harrah's to fail, and the more liberal game policies of MGM to succeed. But I do understand that there is more at play than the two companies' gaming policies, and it is certainly true that the general ploppy population could care less about esoteric rule differences. From a non-AP perspective, I do like the extreme customer friendly attitude I have felt at the MGM properties, but it is hard for me to see past my AP-tinted glasses when I look at Caesar and friends. I do enjoy Harrah's friendly room comping, more so than MGM. That must make a large impression on the deciding ploppy population.shadroch said:I think Harrahs will beat out MGM in the long run. When they go public, I expect the stock will do quite well.
MGM Resorts didn't make it.alwayssplitaces said:MGM has other divisions besides gaming. Heck, for the movie "21" MGM made many times more than what they lost to the MIT card counters.
