well i can normally figure this stuff out myself but i left my copies of "the color of blackjack" and "Knock out blackjack" out with a ploppy friend in indiana. i was wondering if a 1-4 spread is enough to beat a 2D, S17, ds, cs game with a $25 min and a pen of .8. so it'd be a spread 0f 25-100 or do i have to go up to a 1-6 spread to beat that. the game initially has a house advantage of .19

oh yeah i will be using TKO counting method which is probably similar in effectivness to hi-lo.

also how much heat will a 1-4 or 1-6 spread draw on the strip in vegas? thanks

You'll be hard-pressed to find a DD game with 80% penetration on the strip.

A 1 to 4 spread will beat that game at 80% pen. (GUFUSU)

in .8 i wasn't meaning 80% i took it off the CBJN and it stands for 0.8 decks left when the shuffle comes. sorry for the confusion

so it's actually only a 60% pen.....how bout 1-5 will a 1-5 spread with 60% pen work?

1 to 4 will still beat it @ 60%....just not as fast..
