A system for perfect deck estimation

I just thought of a way to keep track of the exact number of cards being dealt on top of your card counting system.

Every 2 cards dealt you would be assigned a letter from A to Z being counted in pairs. If the running count is positive then the letter is after the number. If negative then the letter is said before the number.

For example:
..................Dealer has 5,#

Players have: 2,4...3,J...10,10...8,6

We look at 8,6 first... Running count is 1 and we assign the first pair a value of A

So we have 1A

Then looking at 10,10 our count now becomes -1 and assign the second pair a value of B

So now we have B1 (It is negative now, so letter before number)

3,J still the same running count but we assign a value of C

Now it is C1

2,4 becomes 1D (changes back to postive, letter after number)

Count the dealer's card showing then we have 2D. The next card flipped will become the letter E

After we arrive at the letter Z we will know exactly 1 deck has been dealt.

Between the letter S & T is a 3/4 deck

The Letter M will represent exactly 1/2 deck.

Between the letter F & G is a 1/4 deck

After 1 deck is played some type of marker must be used then start again with the letter A

Very interesting I may give it a shot. I wont need to move the letter in front or back because I know well enough it is neg or positive. I just wonder how that extra calculating is going to work with my current count and ace side count. It may clarify things if I am not doing too much computing as to how much is left in the shoe and always looking at the discards.

I will try it myself and see how it works, try and let you know.

I will be in Vegas for a few days next week.
