A9 vs 5/6. Do you all go by index?

Anyone DD on A9 like they would on hard 10 regardless of the count? Wouldnt it generate more EV?

Oh what I meant is, if you get stiff 10, vs dealer's 2 through 9, on just about any count you DD (unless you are playing severely negative counts). Does any one do the same with A9?

A,9 is not the same as 10. The biggest difference is that A,9 is also 20, making it valuable to stand on. For 10 vs ? your decision is whether hit or double. For A,9 vs ? your decision is whether to stand or double. The indices are therefore completely different.
