Why do Card Counters do this? I never see this behaviour from ploppies, only from people I suspect are counting cards.

To those who do it, do you realize what you are doing? As soon as the shoe ends you dart from the table like a bat out of hell.

Because it's a profitable thing to do?

If you don't care about appearing suspicious or bringing suspicion on others, it's rational to do it.

its not irrational for ANYONE to get up from a table after a shoe ends. many people dont like waiting for a shuffle and many people might want to leave in the middle of the shoe but then say "F- it, im going to see how the rest of the shoe goes"/

I just don't see regular people playing BlackJack ever leave in such a hurry, unless they are mad at me for playing proper basic strategy. But you hear them rant and rave before they get to the point of leaving.

The other day the Counter I was beside saw that last hand played, and was gone so fast I nearly got whiplash trying to follow him moving. I just wanted to mention this as it may be a behaviour that is noticed by casinos also.

You can get up slowly and say thanks to the dealer and walk out like people normally do.
