someone told me REKO is the most simpify coutning system

but the return rate is no different to hi lo

is it true?

he tell me just counting from zero in the beginning and ignore how many decks

also it count all 7s as +1

and finally when getting any 17 or above , then it will be positive hand

and there is no any adjustment for bs compared to other system

it wont change to double 8 vs 6 or 9 vs 7 etc

is it really such simpify can get same return ??

so is REKO counting from zero ignore that its 6 deck or 8 deck

but i saw your chapter states 6 deck is count from -20??

and there is some kind of bs variation , such as +2 then surrender for 15v9

so my friend state no varation and all count from zero , and buy big from 17 or above is wrong ?

You can start the count fro anywhere you wish. But, you would have to adjust all other counts. When you bet or vary from BS.

so for 6 deck

the correct entry point should be 18 if coutning from zero ?

and there is still 18 varations as stated in the charts ?

but i wonder REKO is so simply that can got same power as hi lo ?

it seems 18 will be difficult to appear in the first two decks

but while 18 is very easy at the last 2-3 decks while it seems not got so large ev or even seems sometimes is negative ev ?

If you want to start with an IRC of zero instead of -20, then you will naturally add 20 to your indices for betting and playing. This means that the key count is now -4 + 20 = +16, the pivot is now +4 + 20 = +24, and all your index plays are at +2 + 20 = +22.

If this is too confusing for you, I suggest you stick with the original numbers.

You have correctly identified one of the weaknesses of unbalanced (non-true counted) strategies. That is, they tend to underestimate your advantage early in the shoe and overestimate it late in the shoe.

However, unbalanced strategies also have some advantages over balanced ones, and that is why they are still playable, and why REKO is just as powerful as Hi-Lo in most cases.
