Best Time to Wong?

Assuming you're going to leave until a new shuffle, is it better to:

  1. Wong out if the count is <-2 at the beginning of the shoe, or
  2. Wong out if the count is <-2 towards the end of the shoe?

I'll try to set up a sim to test this, but I am curious as to others' thoughts on this.

Beginning. Later deep in shoe you would wong-out sooner*
