blackjack tournaments in vancouver?

do you think they will start to have blackjack tournaments in casino's? like for example 5 dollar buy in and then they give you 25 thousand in chips and you play until the end etc...? also is there ever any blackjack tournaments in vancouver and when? thanks. 
Most of the Canadian blackjack tournaments seem to be located on the Eastern side of the country, in Ontario and Quebec.
