CA Indian Casino near Oceanside

A friend of mine, a Marine Corps General, ret, told me about a couple of Indian casinos near Oceanside north of SD. He said they have a side bet that pays tremendous odds. He said he tore it up. The only part of it that I remember was that part of the sidebet pays 5 to 1 if you get a blackjack. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I think the closest Indian Casino is Pala, but that is perhaps an hour away and there might be some other closer.

nice and twisty road to pala from oceanside.
do yourself a favor and pick up some strawberries, fresh fruit etc. at the farmers markets beside the road on the way back.
 
None on double deck

I recently was there but saw no side bets on their 4 or so double deck tables. Of course you also have Pauma, Pechanga, and I think a Harrah's in the general area. I only mentioned Pala because I thought it was the closest to Oceanside.

Ocean's 11 casino still has a bastardized version of BJ, don't they? Maybe they're trying to boost the hold on their No-Bust tables with a side bet.

5:1 on something that has a 1:21 chance of happening? what a sweet deal.. if you had all the time in the world, you could utilize a 10 count with a sidecount of aces, and wait til the 2 counts are sky high (once in a blue moon) and then jump in with the table maximum
