Great Start to Career...Go for it.

Just take money that is replaceable (reasonable) and go up betting min during stay. Enjoy yourself, eat, drink, party, etc. See how you do. After the month getting over your loss you will pay more attention to say, for example, Basic Strategy. My experience playing in Canada with CSM's and H17 is that I would never play them.

i play at brantford charity casino and they have 8 deck S17 DA2 DAS shoe games. i know it sucks but its the best i got locally, and i almost always do well there. I havent been to casino niagara or fallsview in a while but i only remember seeing 5 deck CSM games.

Given that the distribution of the "charity" money is probably 99.999999% to the casino, and the remainder to whatever charity they chose (which probably also has a 90% overhead), I don't think they're really raising any money for anyone except themselves.

With numbers like these, if you are having moral qualms, donate 10% of your winnings to a charity like the Red Cross or Habitat for Humanity-- any of the legitimate charities that don't have administrative overheads. The $0.10 per dollar you give them will be far greater than the cut of the dollar they (or their counterpart) would have received.

Last big win I had was mid-December. I bought one of those really neat 50-in-1 board game sets, and put it in the Toy Mountain drop box.

$100 max per spot. Comps aren't worth sitting at the table, backcount only. OLG casinos raise money for the government, I wouldn't call them 'charity casinos'. Not to mention the OLG retailers cheated lotto players out of millions in fraud for years while the OLG turned a blind eye.
