can anyone explain what is meant by avg bj's in the column of the cvbj statistics table below? how it is derived? just what it means? :confused:

so would that mean, kind of like the following terminology:
for all hands played then at the tc ranges presented,
tc=8 on average 1 bj per 4 hands
tc=7 on average 1 bj per 5 hands
tc=6 on average 1 bj per 12 hands
tc=5 on average ?
tc=4 on average 1 bj per 55 hands
ect., ect., ect.

not sure how to view the tc=5 row?
just maybe for tc=5 range no blackjacks presented on average?:confused:

Correct. I can't see your TC 7 or 8, but numbers look right for the 4, 5, 6.

As for the TC=5, I think you are correct in that you didn't receive any bj's at that TC yet.

i wonder does anyone know if CVDATA keeps track of these kind of statistics for a given simulation? i don't think CVCX does.

I believe CVData can do it, as you can select data by count (it's shown in percent) if I remember correctly. But I haven't used it for a while, just switched to Ubuntu recently. JJ may be more up-to-date.:)

I didn't find the specific rounds per bj, but I did find % of rounds having a bj which can be used to derive rounds per bj. It also contains the various TC specific data that is similar to the one you provided

Well, clearly like Sleight said, your stuff is actual BJ's in actual hands played at a count.

So nothing to do with expected BJ's lol.

I guess, was it Sleight's sim stuff?, would give you an expected number at a count.

Here's the heavy stuff lol. I think, for some reason, not sure lol, CVDATA calls a round a round. CVCX may call splitting to 2 hands, 2 "hands" rather than 1 round. CVBJ - I forget lol and that's the one I actually have.

Heck, CVCX may even call an insurance bet an extra "hand"?

I don't know how "hands" are defined at QFIT's bjcolor site lol.

Not to mention are these all BJ's dealt or just winning BJ's dealt lol.

Of course I could be full of it but somewhere along the line it seemed his 3 products did not treat "hand" in the same way.
