CVData Side Counting Question

Hello. Hopefully qfit is around to answer, as I'm having some trouble understanding the side counting in cvdata.

My question is as follows:

I turn on side counts, and let's say set an Ace as -2 for the side count.

When cvdata runs I can see the advantage, frequency, and variance at each TC. Is that after including the Ace side count into the main RC? Or is that before (i.e. just the regular count without the aces)?

My second question is when I run cvcx after cvdata runs, those advantages, variances, and frequencies are with the Aces included in the RC, right?

I too would like to see QFIT's reply.

Being a Hi-Opt II BJ player I use an Ace Side count to adjust my betting.

If the TENS are counted as −2 then for the Side count you factor in the
[Surplus / Deficit] Aces as [+2 / −2] for the Running Count.

As such you have the combined True Count for Bet Sizing ~ and ~ the
original True Count for decision making for violations of Basic Strategy,
Late Surrender, and Insurance.
