Excel analysis of BR growth rate

Thanks for indulging my constant posts, I hope it is okay to post so often. Its all sincere. I made an xcel sheet to see how a 2000 BR grows based on a win of 1% of the BR over 20000 hands. After 10k hands the BR is at 5436 growing 3436. From 10K to 20K hands it grows by 9413 to 14850. I want to make better money during this lifetime, not the next. I think it is very conservative to assume a rate of 1% of the BR as an average. Backcounting in at +2 and out at +1 or the end of the shoe about how many hands could a player get in an hour with 6 open tables available? I was thinking maybe 20. I also wonder when is the best time to give up on a table and start your BCounting at a fresh spot nearby. A lot of variables in that decision. Assume no heat. Go ahead and chew up my research just please don't call me a gambler.

Well I suppose I should break down and get the book. Ustons book was my bible for so many years but I have heard so much about BJA3 I should break down and get it. Perhaps I could then have a life and not be posting so much on the forum. I appreciate and admire all you have done for the industry Don.

I think you won't be disappointed.

Don, I received BJA3 today and was very impressed. Amazon pictures do not do it justice. It is a veritable treasure trove of data with some lighthearted fun interspersed occasionally. For a lifetime lover of this cruel sport I must say I have found my weapon. Thanks so much.

Enjoy! Take it slowly. There's a lot of info between the covers!

I read it once through cover to cover and then each chapter individually very slowly. After reading each chapter individually I would try to implement it in the casino immediately. Once I had that down i would move to another chapter. As my expertise increased with experience I would get more out of each chapter by rereading it. It is the best learning book on the market. If you had to pick just one book BJA would be it. The best learning book and top of the line reference book. Add Griffin's "The Theory of BJ" and you won't need another reference book. The two are great complements to each other if you want to research in order to figure things out for yourself or blaze into unpublished territory.
