FInally GOing OUt!!

yeah, i know casino has 5$ table, i know split, double, insurance, yeah well i know, but i cant say im good bcuz never been to actual casino yet, ah back to the true count/running count, let say i have a running count of +15, 1 deck is gone, so now the true count +3, now do i continue the running count at + 15, or start the new running count at +3, ................6 deck game

knattyd you might find some of the advice a bit harsh that you are recieving but it is for the most part good advice. If you have never been to a casino much yet played BJ in one you could be in for quite a shock. start slow. see if you can count from behind the players( backcount) first to see if you can follow along. Get used to the pace of the casino and see if you can stay within yourself and maintain your own pace instead of getting caught up in theirs. One suggestion is to start out with a simple unbalanced count( kiss1 or KO rookie) to get used to things then grow and advance from their. Just try to pratice as much as possible. LOL :)

ye i no i appreciate all the advice, my counting is pretty good, but then again i never actually tried it, but none the less my expectations are not very high, and ahh whats a CSM? card shuffling machine?? thats my guess?

Continuous shuffling machine. Stay away from these!

so basically is that shuffle after every hand?

Pretty much. As they deal out the hand the rest of the cards are always being shuffled. I've never played one, but they could put the cards back in after every hand, or maybe they play a couple hands then put them back in. It's basically like playing a blackjack game with terrible penetration.

First time

The Redskins across the river has a better game. No CSM's so you can at least attempt some backcounting, etc. I think the Redskings still s17...not sure, but somebody here knows.

I have been counting for a year now but was surprized how difficult it was the first couple times out to count with all the discractions at a casino. I learned pretty fast what I had to work on, practiced, and now feel comfortable and can keep the count no problem.

I played those CSM's when I was learning basic strategy but once I was counting, stopped those games.
