Getting banned from casinos.

When you get banned from casinos can they take your money, or do they simply tell you to leave?

Also, to avoid getting banned, how long will you play at one casino, and how often will you go back to the same casino? What is recommended for hours per session, and frequency of coming back, if you want to continue counting for as long as possible. I know it all depends, I just want to see what other people do.

To answer your first question, they can't take your money.

As for length of sessions, I recommend keeping them to just under an hour. You can return on another shift, you should ideally not play the same shift in the same week. If you are in an area with many casinos, that makes it much easier to accomplish this. In areas with limited venues, there's not much you can do.

Many players successfully ignore this advice for a period of time, but if you do so repeatedly, you will have trouble.

Since I'm a few months away from turning 21, I am very limited with my venues. I can play in MN, but that is about an hour away from me. I am from Fargo, ND. There aren't very many casinos in ND either. Definitely not the place to be for a counter.

I have seen quite a few bars that have blackjack signs on their windows, Which brings me to some other questions. How do blackjack games in bars compare to those in the casinos? Since bars aren't really that big, I assumed there would be just 1 table and a dealer. I asked my parents, and they thought in most bars there is just 1-3 tables with dealers, and with no pit bosses supervising the tables. I was thinking with no pit bosses to give any heat, it would be easier to count cards for longer periods of time. Or are the dealers usually the ones who spot the counters? I was just hoping for some input from people who have played at bars like this, becuase this is how I am going to be playing, at least to start out. I'm sure to make card counting worthwhile I am going to have to take some trips out to Vegas or other areas.

I havent been to any bars to play but i would guess the rules arent very good. It would probably be worth your time to drive across the border to MN. most the games here are pretty good, probably close to the better games in vegas (except no single deck). most casinos will have some good dd games. There isnt much heat as long as your arent too stupid. However, I havent played at any of the casinos way up there in NW MN

Since I am in Fargo, ND I am right on the border of MN. The only casino I have been to in MN is the Shooting Star in Mahnomen. If you know any casinos that are closer, or in the area, let me know. Also let me know some of your favorite casinos, becuase I will probably make a few trips to MN to play blackjack this summer. Thanks!

What are the rules there? What games do they have? HOw many tables? I have not been to this one. Praries edge in granite falls, jackpot junction in morton, treasure island in hastings, mill lacs, and hinkley all have good DD games. Pe and JJ are good for a red chipper with low heat. Mystic lake in prior lake has great penetration ~90% but it is H17.

.
Why not move to southern California. I live in Carlsbad, which is 32 miles north of San Diego on the coast. I have 11 indian casinos within one hour.
