1. the dealer gets at most 20% of that tip if its a small casino, and 2. people dont realize this, but tipping has a huge effect on your EV, but i guess you could also start including beer, gas, food, but tipping is just like comps imo, you should include it in your EV.. think of it this way next time you tip; if you flat bet $10, you are losing about $3 per hour (6d, s17, das, da2, split to 4), so if you tip the dealer $1 per hour, you are losing 33% more money, which is equivalent to the house edge going from .43 to .57 (almost the difference of S17 vs H17).. i know i sound like an ass, but the casinos are bastards, and the employees should understand that the players are getting RAPED and they need all the money they can get, and that they should be mad at the greedy casinos, not the the "greedy" playersrogue1 said:Of course always remember tokes can make a dealer happy and even cooperative.
