Sigh. Are the Hi Lo full indices for 1D different from DD and different from multideck?

If so, I'm going to have to rememorize a whole lotta indices.

Someone might chime in here if I am wrong but the only difference is Doubling 9 v 2 on DD and 6D.

In 6D you are doubling 9 v2 at +1 anyways so doesn't really matter since you will rarely see it. I double weird stuff and split weird stuff that is close to a wash when the count is about even in DD ad 6D just because I have a min bet out, I am bored, plus provides cover. 8v6/5 0 count etc..

SD you should just switch to a better count.

The indexes are different. Insurance is substantially different.

That said, I believe all of the indexes that change are actually at lower counts in double and single deck, so you should be ok using your shoe indexes for pitch. Just not the other way around.

The basic strategy is also different. Most single deck games will have you soft doubling 19 v. 6, doubling 8 v. 5-6, 9 v. 2, and soft 18 vs. 2.

*&%^#*$ -

Was going to memorize the indices for DD. But Wong's 1994 doesn't have indices for DD !! Only full indices for 1D and 4D.

Unless someone else has a book or source for double deck hi lo full indices, I'm going with Moo's suggestion:

Wong apparently also shares similar sentiments: "Multiple-deck strategy numbers are only slightly different from single-deck strategy numbers. You will win almost as much by using multiple-deck strategy numbers with one deck as you will win by using one deck strategy numbers with one deck."

I'll use the multi-deck full indices from shoe, I'm reviewing the differences between BS for DD and multi-deck, and after all this... DD better be as sweet as you all tell me it is! :) Wish me good variance! :)

(1D will have to wait for another night.)
