Im going to the casino on saturday i plan on playing for a couple hours. For the first time im goign to use the kiss count in renzey's book. i plan on a betting spread of 1-10 $10 being one unit. 4D, Stand17, Das, no surrender. If i bring $600 will this be enough?
 
I don't believe it is enough. I am sure others can tell you better than I. Flat betting, $10 dollar hands, $600 is only enough for 60 hands of play. Plus my guess is you have a win stop limit in mind, I assume your stop loss limit is the original $600? A betting spread to 1 to 10 could at a $10 dollar minimum table, be 10 units or a thousand dollars. You would have had to won quite a few hands to be able to bet $1000. Me personally, if I were up $400 over my original buy in of $600, would be looking for a loosing streak to signal my departure. Lets see what the experts say. Good luck.
 
A quick look indicates that a $600 bank spreading $10 to $100 for two hours in this game probably has about a 20% chance of going broke.

mdw, his top bet will be $100, not $1000.
 
That sounds acceptable to me. Also it is very easy to walk whenever the count gets too low. Mid shoe entry is easy too, except for the players that dont want to me mess up the order of the cards.

zg is right. You'll encounter Voodoo players at virtually every table you sit at. I've even heard dealers blame bad runs of cards on someone leaving in the middle of a shoe. Nonsense. You are not trying to build lasting relationships with your "tablemates".

If she's pretty enough, I might wait, but probably not <LOL>.

It might be barely,though if you are able to walk at neg counts that would help.If you are able you might want to bring 20 times your max bet. Will help you to be able to stomach those possible big swings you can get in shoe games.:)
