How old do I look? (ID requests)

I was at the cage of a Las Vegas casino when I was asked to show ID. I asked "why do you need to see my ID?" The cashier responded: "You look under 30." I am rarely mistaken for being younger than I am but for some reason it always seems to happen at the BJ table or cashier.
In a genuine effort to find out how old I really look I set forward a proposition to the cashier: "if you can guess my age I will give you $100. I'm very serious. I will give you $100."
The cashier looks at me for a few moments, doing his best to study my features when he gives it his best guess: "34."
I tell him he doesn't need to see my ID in that case. He insists he does. I ask him why and he says it's because I appear to be under 30. I tell him he c just told me I look 34 to whichvhe responds: "yeah, but someone else may think you look under 30."

No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. Casinos are crawling with mental hernias, many of whom work in important positions.

Never forget: there are many more horses' asses in the world than there are horses.

His response was so pitiful. You disproved it, right before his eyes, and by his own admission. Then, rather than concede he comes out with this cowardly response about how 'someone else' might respond. He could justify anything with that logic.
