Once a person knows the I18 should you start trying to learn other indices or are those the only indices that affect your EV significantly? This is for HiLo hit on soft 17 by the way.

Dont forget the Fab 4. They give a huge ~.2% bonus (HiLo) to your EV.

Also, the I18 consists of a great majority of the total gain from knowing full indeces. If you want to learn more, learn indeces for other games (s17 dd etc.). These are better games and having accurate indexes for these and playing them would give more boost than learning full indeces.

PS: I did a quick cvcx and for a 6d s17 ls game with a 12:1 spread with min $10 and 10k BR, I got a 70.22 SCORE (1.1% ror $31.05/hr) for S16F4 and 75.81 SCORE (1% ror $33.29/hr). Worth it to learn 150+ more? Another route you can take is learn a different count system or shuffle tracking to boost your EV.

My casino doesn't have surrender which is disapointing. I think I will just stick with my I18 and some shuffle tracking then.

Depending on your betting ramp, you might not even need 6-7 entries in the I18.

The most valuable plays are highly dependent on your betting ramp.
