Indexes

It is a 'freak' play too. It is one of a handful of plays that can have consequences because of what I term as "secondary heat" because of reactions from other players. And yes I know the humorous comments abut "other players". But when their reactions and comments draw additional attention to me and my game, they are very real. :(

Now, I am not saying you should or shouldn't change anything based on that. Just saying it can be a negative issue.

Oh and when the situation occurs, and some goofball makes a fuss, to the point that a pit critter wonders over and takes notice, just try explaining to anyone that it is a basic strategy play. ;)

u should purchase wong's pro blackjack or cvcx so u can answer these questions yourself

IIRC

16 v 9 is a basic strategy surrender, as is 16 v T. Hit at -1 and -3 respectively.

15 v T has an index of 0. 16 v A is a basic strategy surrender.

14 v T is a surrender at +3 or higher.

Wrong on several things. If surrender is not possible, the index to hit 16v9 is TC 4 and less and for 16v10 it's -1 and less. You stand on 16v9 at 5 or higher and stand on 16v10 at 0 and higher.

For 15v10, if surrender is not available, you hit at +3 and lower and stand at +4 or higher. For 16vA, if surrender is not available, you hit at +2 and lower and stand at +3 or higher in a H17 GAME. For a S17 game, if surrender is not available, you hit at +7 or lower and stand at +8 or higher.

This is for Halves, but very similar to HiLo since HiLo and Halves have basically identical indices or have about a '1'point difference in the index.

`Playing basic strategy in a casino makes you a smart person:) , and if you count cards or use other techniques , you are a GENIUS!;):) casino only allow Morons (uninformed players) play. Those players give the casino a 1% to a whopping 20% in edge in some instances.

I was listing the hit or surrender indexes, I guess you are not familiar with them.

14 v T é uma rendição a +3 ou superior. [/ QUOTE]

Thank you, Meistro.
