Hey guys once again I’m preaching to quire
Verified winning off all softwares. Still getting smashed. Following CVCX and good ROR, 2% and under. Bankroll started at 26K, down 10K after only 55 hours. How in the hell is any of this possible? I resized my betting. Even wong until TC1. Is it possible that some people no matter what will never make it due to luck? Or variance of call it that. I’m so god damn last. I’m almost starting believe that you must be lucky to win even as advantage player. It’s really bothering me big time. Some say short term results? That swing seems far to big be true. I don’t know anymore, I’ve tried everything it seems.

I keep wondering shoe after shoe, if it’s ever going turn. But it never does. Like at what point do I call it quits? If my bankroll keeps shrinking my ROR will continue to sky rocket. And be more losing to come. Like how can I always be in SD3? With a winning game. Very frustrating. Very. Work so hard at something only to fail time after time. Can anyone please help me or guide me? I win 1 session, then will lose 3. And the 3 I do loose are very large.

If the ROR calculations are accurate and they say there is a 1% chance of ruin, it must really suck when you get bad variance and are the 1%. But somebody has to be.

I'm not being glib about your losses. Depending on how much money you have overall (not just your BJ bankroll), you should take a break and seriously consider how it would impact on you if you lost the whole 26K.

I don't do much card counting, my stuff is usually higher variance. Advantage Play does work, but bankrolls can go bust. I hope you have better luck in the future.

What rules are you playing, decks, bet size, spread, Pen? Where are you playing, not specifically, just country, are you being cheated?

8 Deck, H17, 3-2BJ, DAS, 4Splits. Table Mins are $25 Pen usually 6/8, But has been much better at another place with same rules. New place been doing 7/8. Dealers are average to advance speed, I would say about 80-125 hands per hour. With table of 2-3. My current spread I'm using is
TC1=$25
TC2=2X$25
TC3=2X$50
TC4+=2X$85
I've had scale my bets back further and further due to losing.

I'm former dealer and know these local casinos very well. I'm certain nothing fishy is going on. The new casino I'm playing at(sister casino of the one I used to work at) even does hand shuffling with great pen. I'm playing in Canada.

It just baffles me that I would be that rare case....But I know it's possible same time. Very hard get head around. I've taken a break before as I was starting get discouraged. This didn't impact my play at table but afterwards bother some. Now it looks like I will be taking another break for 3rd time. Going focus on some other investments(That are not advantage play) in meantime. Come back to it in couple months. I do test out on Casino verite weeks before actually heading back into the casino during these hiatus. I've considered what losing the entire bankroll would be like....Very gut wrenching thoughts and depressive. But I personally believe I would rather live in regret than wonder, especially when so passionate about blackjack. I appreciate the response and luck you wish.
