Recently began playing at Mountaineer Casino. As an infrequent player using hi-low I am looking for comments as to the quality of the game at Mountaineer. Eight decks, 75-80% penetration, double any two cards, das, dealer stands on soft 17, insurance, no surrender. Typical spread of 5 to 30 and sit tight during negitive decks. Doesn't seem to be much concern about a wide bet spread.

your spread $5 to $30?

So 1-6 spread. Not enough for an 8 decker. You should be looking to spread 1-16 minimum in my opinion.

And is it H17 or S17?

Your post now says S17, but CP says its a H17.

Either way, there are greener pastures around, not sure about your area though.

So you did edit this to s-17. That is different.

Thanks for the reply. Small bet spread is to get more experience without losing my shirt. Short drive to the casino.

I'm very new to using the software, but if I'm using it correctly, I get a winrate of $3.98/hr and a score of 6.77 without wonging, and assuming a penetration of 80%. SD is $153 per hour, N0 is 147743 hands, and ROR with a $5k bankroll is 18.2%. Wonging will increase hourly rate and SCORE, but I didn't run the numbers for that.
