I was traveling across country this past week on I-40. I stopped at an Oklahoma casino and played BJ. You had to anti up .50 cents for every hand. Even after a push you still have to anti .50 cents ($1.00 if you bet $51.00 or higher). I questioned the dealer about this and he said it was a state law. I did notice that the anti's did not go into the money trey, but on the side next to the shoe. The dealers tips went on the other side of the table next to the money slot. I lost $50.00 and estimated the loss to about equal my anti. Needless to say, I left the casino and did not stop at any OK casinos on my return trip.

Smart move Russell (not stoping at other OK casinos!) There is at least one OK casino (the Kaw Tribe in Newkirk, OK) where they have $2/$25 tables. On this low stakes game the ante is $.25. You can minimize the effect of the ante by increasing your bet, but it never brings the house advantage back to what it would be at a "real" blackjack table.

I found out pretty quickly that your losses can soar while your wins are usually eaten up by the ante!

The Kaw does have one interesting table rule though. If you split ACES and get tens on the hits, you are paid off 3:2 as if you had drawn two blackjacks. You can only split Aces once.
