A couple of days ago I was playing at my local casino. The game offers perfect pairs. One guy at the table is playing 2 hands a $100.00 each on perfect pairs. nothing exciting going on yet until I am dealt a 12 vs dealer 2 and take a hit naturally its a ten. All hell breaks lose as he starts preaching and shaking his head to me about taking the dealers bust card I don't say to much. The very next hand he is dealt 2 perfect pairs @ $100 each for a $6,000 win. Right away I tell him he ought to be kissing my ass and thanking me for taking the card and dropping him into those 2 hands. He thanks me and flips me 3 black chips. Not bad.

I had two interesting experiences re: getting toked.

In the first, I was seated with a dude in an Armani suit, huge diamond pinkie
ring, platinum hair, and a big-haired blonde "goomah" on his arm. It was just
like as if I was transported to the set of "The Sopranos"

I was losing badly. He tossed me a purple and said - -
"Here, change your luck." I lost. He repeated with a pumpkin.
I lost. He repeated. So did I. He said - "Fuggedaboudit.
This ain't your day." He had given me $2,500 but I couldn't
win a hand.

The same week, I am playing at a $100 table. Along comes an overdressed
middle-aged woman who mostly flat-bet chunky black. The count tanked. I
wonged-out but stuck around to tutor her gawd-awful play. She then proceeded
to toke me a black on EVERY winning hand. She got lucky and I collected
over $1,000. If she would have been, to any degree, attractive ...
