So does it really exist and if yes, why aren't there people who can actually make money having that special skill or is it even possible that it can work in blackjack game:grin:

I love in this one book that we were read in elementary school, the main character developed telekinetic powers over time through concentration exercises. He then went to a casino, first hand he hit his 20 because he knew the next card was an ace. He then realized that was rather stupid as he will get noticed very quickly playing like that. He walked up to the roulette table instead, and bet a bunch on one number, which of course was the next one to be rolled.

For this abuse of his power, he died of a heart attack that very night!

Only if you use it for personal gain!


Which pretty much defeats the purpose of having it I suppose.

Who said there are no people who can do it?? Where is Zengrifter to help on this? Did he get barred from here recently?:eek:

Ya just need to find another person with a similar power and use it to help each other out. Criss- Cross, and all that.

the early edition

this reminds me of an awful show (read: guilty pleasure) called the early edition where some loser gets the newspaper a day early. he usually manages to fix 1 or 2 problems and the newspaper updates showing that hes fixed it.

idiot obv shouldve racked up some loot on sports and he could higher 1000 assitants to make sure he solves every problem every day. but nooo he was to "morale" for that or whatever. so if you were gonna get shot in a bank robbery youd better hope its a slow news day. if he has to evacuate a school or prevent an assassination your screwed cause 3 problems cant be fixed in 24hours (30 minutes with commercials).

"sorry bra, you die cause i was to ethical to bet sports and higher my cousin to save your ass. comic book code, only losers/idiots get magic powers - it pushes ploppy sales etc"
